Our recent event at Bloomingdales in Boca Raton was wonderful.  Here are some of the images that show what a fantastic event it was.

The event was well attended with almost forty members and guests. Here are just a few including members Lynn Sciarrone, Susan Heller and Leah Keitz and guests.

We enjoyed cupcakes courtesy of Susie Jordan of Vanilla Rush. They were delish!

Members Elizabeth Zecca, Susan Heller and our new President Caroline Rogow smile for the camera.

Bloomingdales furnished the china and silver but John Eckardt pulled together amazing table settings and florals.

John, who owns Petal Pushers, a local showroom to the trade, and future IFDA member, had to scramble to coordinate it all due to last minute changes.

Here’s John peeking between members Lynn Sciarrone and Marsha Koch, and one of the guests.

Another colorful table setting with little birds tucked in between the flowers.

The head of  the  Bloomingdales Furniture Department welcomed us and introduced us to  the sales reps for  many of the lines they carry.   Some of the furniture lines are not available to independent designers so this was a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know  these companies, some for the first time.

Mitchell and Gold is a widely popular company that is offered at Bloomingdales. It offers a vast array of fabrics and options.

Bloomingdales showcased some of their beautiful bedding ensembles as well.

They have always been known as a fabulous resource for the latest in area rugs.

Contemporary and transitional styles were on display in colorful room settings.

This stainless desk and black accent pieces is just one of the classic vignettes we saw.

We even spotted this splash of Pantone’s Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid!

We thank Bloomingdales and all who attended, especially Lynn Sciarrone and Caroline Rogow who organized this outstanding evening.  We are looking forward to building a lasting and mutually successful relationship with Bloomingdales in the years ahead.

If you attended our Bloomingdales event we would love to hear from you.  Have you ever used Bloomingdales as a resource?  If so, please share your experiences.  How do you think IFDA could benefit from a relationship with Bloomingdales?  Your ideas and suggestions are most welcome.
