Last year our Florida Chapter was proud to participate in the nationwide fundraising event called Take a Seat.  Local artists and Designers created one of a kind chairs that were auctioned to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Veteran Build South Palm Beach.

Through the efforts and energy of our members and the generous support of our sponsors we were able to present a check to Mike Campbell President of the South Palm Beach Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $6,500.

We are thrilled to have Habitat for Humanity Veteran Build South Palm Beach as our charity  for the 2015 Take a Seat signature event.  Plans are already underway and the committee is beginning to meet regularly to assure this year’s auction is even better and the funds we raise will exceed our greatest expectations!

We encourage all IFDA members to get involved.  What a wonderful way to support our veterans and Habitat for Humanity and have fun doing it!  We will be posting updates for Take a Seat as plans are confirmed.

We also hope to participate, as many of our members did last year, in building another Habitat for Humanity house.  Stay tuned for sign up dates and information!
